| Artist Statement |
Colors and feelings speak to me in their interchangeable language, but it's the spark that allows me to flow through my brush. Emotions awaken me, become form, and begin a creative process. Metaphor and poetry are vessels for my imagination. Somewhere between reality and fantasy inner muses reveal themselves (though they like to hide) - like the tip of an iceberg, reality is much more than what you see.
Inspiration comes in a flash. It arrives in receptivity and stillness and it is as if the whole world is illuminated ... illuminating. My desire is to capture the truth of that moment. |
